Bungee Fitness FAQ — Leap of Faith

Question 1

Do I need any experience to try bungee fitness?

Accepted Answer

None at all. Bungee fitness is designed to be beginner-friendly. Your first session is the First Flight intro experience, which walks you through everything — harness fitting, safety, and your first workout — before you ever join a regular class.

Question 2

What is First Flight and why is it required?

Accepted Answer

First Flight is a 90-minute intro session required for all new bungee clients. It covers personal harness fitting, weight and measurement setup, a full safety walkthrough, beginner instruction, and your first bungee workout. It's designed to make sure you feel safe, supported, and ready before joining regular classes.

Question 3

How do I sign up for First Flight?

Accepted Answer

Stop by the counter to book your First Flight. We'll get you set up with a time that works for you.

Question 4

What happens after First Flight?

Accepted Answer

After First Flight, you're ready to take the Takeoff class ($20) — your next step to build confidence and get comfortable with regular bungee movement. From there, you can join any class or choose a membership or class pack that fits your goals.

Question 5

What types of classes do you offer?

Accepted Answer

We offer three class types: Bungee (our signature full-body bungee workout), Dance 2 Fit (dance-based cardio with bungee), and Power Pump / Pilates (strength and core-focused sessions). Unlimited memberships include all class types.

Question 6

How long are classes?

Accepted Answer

First Flight is 90 minutes. The Takeoff class is 60 minutes. Regular classes vary — check the schedule for specific class lengths.

Question 7

How many people are in a class?

Accepted Answer

Class sizes are kept small to ensure every client gets proper attention and a safe harness setup. Spots are limited, so we recommend booking in advance.

Question 8

Can I drop in without a membership?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After completing First Flight, you can purchase single classes or class packs without a membership. Bungee single classes are available via packs (5 for $90, 10 for $150). Dance 2 Fit single classes are $10, and Power Pump / Pilates single classes are $15.

Question 9

Is bungee fitness safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes — when done with proper instruction and a correctly fitted harness. That's exactly why First Flight is required for all new clients. Our instructors are trained to fit each harness to your body and guide you through safe movement patterns before you ever join a regular class.

Question 10

Are there weight or age restrictions?

Accepted Answer

Our bungee equipment is designed to accommodate a range of body types. Weight limits and age requirements are assessed during First Flight as part of your harness fitting and setup. Please contact us in advance if you have specific questions.

Question 11

What if I have a health condition or injury?

Accepted Answer

We recommend consulting your doctor before starting bungee fitness if you have any pre-existing health conditions, recent injuries, or are pregnant. Let our instructors know about any limitations during your First Flight so we can modify movements as needed.

Question 12

Is bungee fitness low impact?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The bungee cord absorbs a significant portion of the impact on your joints, making it much gentler on knees, hips, and ankles than traditional high-impact cardio. It's a great option for people recovering from joint issues or looking for a lower-impact alternative to running or jumping.

Question 13

What should I wear to class?

Accepted Answer

Wear form-fitting athletic wear — leggings or fitted shorts and a fitted top work best. Avoid loose clothing, which can get caught in the harness. Layers are fine for warmup.

Question 14

What shoes should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Athletic sneakers with good support are recommended. Avoid sandals, flip-flops, or open-toed shoes.

Question 15

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Bring a water bottle, a small towel, and any personal items you need. The harness and all bungee equipment are provided — you don't need to bring anything special.

Question 16

Is there anything I should avoid wearing?

Accepted Answer

Avoid belts, large belt loops, or anything with hard hardware around the waist or hips — these can interfere with the harness fit. Jewelry around the waist or hips should also be removed before class.

Question 17

What membership options are available?

Accepted Answer

We offer four Unlimited membership tiers: Month-to-Month ($125/mo), 3-Month Prepaid ($345/qtr), 6-Month ($110/mo), and 12-Month ($99/mo). All Unlimited memberships include every class type — bungee, Dance 2 Fit, Power Pump, and Pilates.

Question 18

How does the First Flight credit work?

Accepted Answer

Your $30 First Flight fee is credited toward your first month of any Unlimited membership. So if you sign up for a membership after your First Flight, you only pay the difference.

Question 19

How do I cancel my membership?

Accepted Answer

Month-to-month, 6-month, and 12-month memberships require 30 days written notice to cancel. The 3-Month Prepaid is paid in full and will not auto-renew — no cancellation needed.

Question 20

Do class packs expire?

Accepted Answer

Please ask at the counter for current class pack expiration policies. We'll make sure you understand the terms before purchasing.

Question 21

Can I share my membership or class pack with someone else?

Accepted Answer

Memberships and class packs are tied to your account and are non-transferable.
